William's Cottage: a spacious retreat vacation home in beautiful Ashland, Oregon
William's Cottage is only a leisurely 12-minute walk from downtown Ashland, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Lithia Park (designed by John McLaren, the same designer who created Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, in 1914), and a myriad of choices of fine dining, wine tasting, art galleries, recreational activities (golf, hiking, walking, biking, and fishing), and shopping. During the winter months, the fabulous Mt. Ashland Ski Resort is just 35 minutes away and right beside Lithia Park is the city's own ice skating rink. Make your reservations early: this cottage has fans from past years!

The cottage offers a queen size bed with an additional comfortable sofa sleeper, a fully equipped kitchen and cooking facilities, living room and dining room. It has a large spacious bathroom with tub/shower. It is equipped with a washer & dryer, A/C, Cable TV’s, DVD, and high speed internet.
The home has a built-in carport. Additional features are several bicycles for your enjoyment, a hot tub, and a barbeque grill next to the outdoor dining table. And in season, there are grapes, raspberries, and garden vegetables for the picking!

William’s River Cottage sits on a high bank of the beautiful Rogue River near historic Gold Hill, Oregon.
The river house accommodates two couples or a family of four, with two bedrooms with queen-sized beds, and a fully equipped kitchen. Sunshine pours into the dining area through numerous windows. The interior is spacious and open, with a separate area upstairs with a computer desk with surge protection and WI/FI for your computer. Step down into the sunken living room with a beautiful view of the river, or enjoy TV or DVDs.
Open the door to the expansive deck and step into the natural beauty of the meandering Rogue. The oak-shaded deck features a hot tub, tables and chairs with sun umbrellas, and a fire pit: it’s great as a private retreat or for grilling and entertaining.
A staircase weaves its way down three stories to the rocky shore of the river. Relax in a chair and breathe in the peaceful atmosphere.
With gear from local outfitters, you can enjoy boating, kayaking, or rafting on one of the most scenic rivers in the Pacific Northwest. Or try your hand at fishing. William’s Cottage overlooks the famous Silica Hole, a prized Southern Oregon fishing spot for salmon.
